A message from Mrs. Kale, Family and Pupil Mentor

I am available from 8.30am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday to offer support to all of our families, especially throughout this difficult time. Please do contact me via the school office if you feel you need any extra support. I can help with emotional health and wellbeing, behaviour, problems at home or in school, financial difficulties, especially those affected by the pandemic and much more.

There are also some lovely wellbeing activities available on our school website for those children

Below is a list of local services that you may also find useful:

West Sussex County Council Community Hub – Offering practical help and advice in confidence. Open 7
days a week 8.00am – 8.00pm. Contact 033 022 27980
Early Help Duty Line – 0330 222 8087 available Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. Information, advice
and guidance including crisis support. Can help with crisis payment and food parcels.
Family Support Work – 01273 832963 A Sussex Charity supporting children and families through difficult
times in their lives.
NHS Volunteer Responders – 0808 196 3646 8.00am – 8.00pm, every day. Support whilst self-isolating
such as collecting shopping/medicines/prescriptions.

Free food collection points for those in need

  • Jeneses Arts & Community Centre – Linden Road, Bognor Regis. Open daily (usually around 10.00am – 3.00pm)
  • EcoSwap – High Street, Bognor Regis. Open daily 10.00am – 4.00pm.
  • Bognor Regis Community Help Box – Bersted Park Community Centre, Lakeland Avenue. Currently, open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10.00am – 11.30am.

You do not need to register or be referred, no appointment is needed. Just turn up and take what
you need. They will also take donations during these hours if anyone is able to do so. Further information

Mental Health

(Adults) Sussex Mental Healthline – free 24/7 telephone service offering listening support, advice,
information and signposting to anyone experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
(Children) Young Minds – Parents helpline 0808 802 5544 9:30am – 4.00pm, Monday – Friday. There is
also lots of useful information on their website https://www.youngminds.org.uk/parent/
(Children and families) Anna Freud, National Centre for Children and Families – free resources and
toolkits for schools, parents and carers. Guidance and practical tools to support children’s mental health
