School Uniform Policy 2024-25

Early Years and Key Stage 1
Winter – Must be worn from October half term – Easter.

Footwear
Black or navy blue sturdy shoes or plain, flat ankle boots (no higher).
Shoes or boots should be leather or similar (waterproof). No trainers. No ‘Ugg’ style
boots or similar as these are not waterproof

Supportive trainers with velcro fastening not laces or plimsolls Spare socks (if tights are worn)
Please note children are not permitted to wear
tights for PE under their shorts and must have
socks to change into.
Jewellery, Makeup and Hair
  • One pair of stud earrings are permitted but must be covered during P.E.
    lessons with microporous tape, which is available to purchase from any local
    chemist.
    • Children may wear a crucifix or religious necklace but no other jewellery
    including bracelets, charity bangles or friendship bracelets are permitted.
    • All children with long hair (shoulder length or longer) should wear it tied
    back. A navy blue alice band or hairslides may be worn but no jojo bows,
    large or brightly coloured hair accessories.
    • No shaved hair designs or extreme hair styles allowed (less than grade 2).
    • Hair and braiding (including braided extensions) should be of child’s natural
    colour and should be tied with soft bands. For safety reasons we do not allow
    beads or any other type of hair extensions.
    • No nail polish, fake or artificial nails allowed.
    • No make-up including fake eye-lashes.
    • No Smart watches

 

  • Please note, however, that we cannot be held responsible should your child
    lose or damage an item of jewellery.

Swimming and Forest School
When children have swimming or Forest School they may come to school in
clothing suitable for this and wear it all day.

Please wear suitable clothes for being
outside in for the whole afternoon. We
