On Wednesday the 27th April, KS1 were delighted to have the Bognor Fire Service visit us.
They came to each class to explain what they do to help others and what emergency number to call, should we need it. They wanted to check we all had smoke alarms and how important they are in saving lives. The children were able to ask and answer lots of questions.
Following this, they were then taken outside to the field to explore the Fire Engine and discover what was inside and what each part was used for. The children got to see the blue lights flash, witness a fireman get into his full kit in under 30seconds and discover more about how they use the hose in an emergency!
