Yesterday, Thursday 7th March, was World Book Day. We celebrated in school as we do every year by dressing up as our favourite book characters or in pyjamas ready for bedtime stories!
World Book Day is always a fun and exciting day in school. Miss Stevenson gave an assembly in the morning and awarded book vouchers to some of the children, we had book day themed activities in class, and some of our year 5 & 6 children enjoyed spending time reading stories with the younger ones.
We were also very grateful to receive £132 in donations towards new books for school!
