We were delighted to welcome almost 100 grandparents to our service and tea and cake afternoon on Friday 30th September. The FSA served refreshments and organised a raffle and children from all classes read their prayer and memories on the subject of grandparents. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the care and service provided by grandparents whether local or far away. As Pope Francis said recently, The people that does not care for its children or grandparents is a people that has not a future. Because it doesn’t have the strength or the memory to go forward.
