Spirituality Week

Apr 7, 2022 | News

We are all enjoying Spirituality Week across the school. Each day we are exploring a different part of our school Mission Statement, with scripture and activities linked to it. Each day has begun with an assembly led by a different phase, introducing the theme for the day. We have once again set up different ‘stations’ on the field, linked to each part of the Mission Statement, with a quiet prayer space area under the Gazebo. Unfortunately the weather has not been as kind to us as it was last year so some of the sessions have had to take place in the parish hall instead, but have none the less have been enjoyed very much. By the end of the week we hope that children across the school will have a good understanding at their level of what our Mission Statement means and how we can live it out in everyday life at school. Thank you as always for the wonderful creative homework that has come in this week, I am always taken aback by the wonderful range of ideas, there is so much imagination and talent! There will be a small ‘thank you’ to all children who completed it at the end of the week.
