Our Year 5 and 6 School Council were recently invited to a Deanery School Council day in the Forest School area at St Phillips Catholic Primary School in Arundel and to Arundel Cathedral Centre where they were able to enjoy lots of lovely activities.
The children from our four Deanery Schools took part in a range of Forest School activities which supports developing their leadership skills. They also has the opportunity to do some orienteering and to cook over a campfire.
The children all had a wonderful day, and this is what Oliwia and Martyna had to say about it:
‘The Year 5/6 school council went to the forest school in Arundel, we did lots of fun activities. We made smores, and played lots of games. At the end of the day everybody was really tired. It was really fun!’
