Our Year 6 production was a fun filled, nostalgic look back at the strangest year that a year 6 class has ever seen! Through drama, song and dance we remembered the Year 2020, the lockdowns, the toilet roll shortage, the life – threatening shopping trips and of course the joys of home schooling!
We gave thanks to our NHS heroes and performed a moving tribute to Sir Captain Tom Moore as we sang and signed, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
Ironically, just as we thought it would all be fine, we had to say goodbye before we were ready to. However, in typical St. Mary’s style, we came together and gave a wonderful performance which was recorded for our family and friends to see.
The title of a show has never been so fitting -”Wow! What a Year!”
